Good evening, Gator families!

We’re excited for our first home meet tomorrow, June 5, at the Grand Lakes Swim Team pool! We’ll be taking on the Tigers, and the theme is red, white, and blue.

We’re keeping an eye on the weather and will share any updates in SportsYou.

A few helpful reminders for tomorrow’s home meet:

  • Swimmer tents will be in the parking lot because of the recent rain.
  • Please make sure your child stays with their assigned tent so they don’t miss an event.
  • Please bring folding chairs for both swimmers and adults.
  • Set-up crew: please connect with me or David as there are some changes for this meet.
  • Please do not park in the parking lot unless you are board or coaches. These spaces are reserved. Please also avoid parking in front of the pool or parking lot, as that area is for drop-off and food trucks only. Also, don’t park too close to stop signs, as police may ticket.
  • Please check your volunteer assignment. We truly appreciate our volunteers—meets like this can’t happen without you! If you have questions, contact Pete, our Volunteer Maestro, at [email protected]. If you sign up for a shift, please be sure to report for it. No-shows delay the meet and may result in dismissal from the team and collection of volunteer fees.
  • Our concession stand will accept tap-to-pay card, Zelle, or exact cash.
  • Food trucks at the meet will include All Seasons Eat, Yeti Ice, and Donut NV. They accept credit cards.
  • Let’s show the Tigers great respect and sportsmanship! Please remind swimmers to stay in their lane until the race is complete and to say, “Good swim!”

Parent reminders:

  • Please don’t let your swimmer wander around the meet, especially 6 & under swimmers.
  • Your swimmer must stay in their assigned lane, or their time and score may not count.
  • Please do not leave before your swimmer has finished all races, and be sure to check out with your team parent before leaving.
  • Please do not leave your volunteer duty until relieved by the 2nd shift volunteer. Volunteer times in SwimTopia are approximate, so follow the arrival times below and check out by turning in your lanyard.
  • Please do not park in the parking lot.
