Good Evening Gator Family,

We have our first dual meet tomorrow! We will be swimming at the Cinco Ranch SouthWest Rosewood pool at 26418 Cinco Terrace Dr, Katy, TX 77494, please park at Stanley Elementary School at 26633 Cinco Terrace Dr, Katy, TX 77494. On road parking is not recommended. Please see attached visitor info.

Few Key Things to Remember for Away Meets!

Please make sure your kids know to stay with their specific tent. We are working to run a fast, efficient meet so we can end as early in the day as possible. If kids leave the tent area they may miss their swim.

Bring folding chairs for your kids and adults. If you want a place to sit you will need to bring your own chair. With it being dark, families can bring flashlights/lanterns if they wish.

Please see the attached pool layout. If you are part of the set up crew take a good look at it. It will help you understand where everything needs to go prior to meet start.

Remember there is no parking directly in the parking lot in front of the pool. This is drop off only. 

Check your volunteer assignments! We cannot put on a successful meet without support from our volunteers. If you have questions, contact Pete our Volunteer Maestro at [email protected]! If you check in for a volunteer spot you need to show up. No shows create delays to an already long swim meet. We have had people check in and not show up to their duties. Reminder this is grounds for dismissal from the team along with us collecting your volunteer fees. We cannot have a great swim season without amazing volunteers.

CRSW will have concessions and is cash only.

Our meet against CRSW will take place on Wednesday May 27, 2026 and our theme is Hawaiian!!

Wear your Gator gear.

Please show CRSW our best respect and sportsmanship. Remind your swimmers to stay in their lane until everyone is finished. And make sure they say "good swim!" Our coaches will remind everyone as well. Thank you for your support in this effort.

REMINDERS FOR OUR PARENTS:

DO NOT let your swimmer wander around the meet-especially the 6 and unders.

Your swimmer MUST stay in their assigned lanes or their time & score may not be counted.

DO NOT leave before the conclusion of your swimmers' races and check out with team parent before leaving the meet.

DO NOT leave your volunteer duty before someone comes to relieve you, volunteer duty times in Swimtopia are approximate so read below for show up times and always check out by handing in your lanyard so we know you completed your shift and didn't leave early.

DO NOT PARK IN THE PARKING LOT.

Please pay close attention to arrival times:

4:15pm - Set-up crew arrives

4:45pm - Volunteer sign in Assistants & Console operators arrive

4:45pm - Tent Parent and Floaters arrive

5:00pm - Swimmers arrive

5:30pm - Grand Lakes Warm Up

5:30pm - (All other volunteers arrive: Timers, judges, runners, ribbons, hospitality, etc.)

5:45pm - Judges Meeting

5:45pm - Timers Meeting

5:55pm - All volunteers in position – Starter to run test heat for Console/Timers

6.00pm. Meet Start time

Swap of the shifts will be after backstroke or IMs - listen for announcements.

7-8: 8:00 - 8:30

9-10: 8:30-9:00

11-12: 9:00-9:30

13-18: 9:30-10:00

6&U: 10:00-10:30

Thursday: No Practice

Friday: Normal Practice
