Good evening Parents,

Please read this email in full as there is some important information. 

First - If you received an email from me, or if you didn't show up for your shift at Friday's meet, and don't have enough volunteer points please log into the team website and register for more shifts as Pete our Volunteer Master has unlocked them. If you need help or have any questions please email Pete at [email protected]. Here is one last reminder that if you don't meet the 4 volunteer point minimum we will charge you the volunteer fee for each point.

Second - 

• All of our times volunteer shift times are approximate - DO NOT RELY ON THE TIMES IN SWIMTOPIA Look at my email for show-up times, again the times in swimtopia are unofficial.
• Wait until your replacement comes before you leave - if your replacement doesn't show-up, check-in with the volunteers table or flag down a board member or coach to help you connect with Pete. 
• Make sure to return your lanyard after your shift - this is how we know you completed your shift and didn't skip out early.

Third - Reminder, this is a volunteer run program and a majority of the registration goes to pay coaches salaries. So we ask for your help in soliciting donations for our non-profit. As expenses increase we do our best to keep registration increases to a minimum and this done with extra donations. Please see below for options to help (most only take time no money from you) and you can always reach out to [email protected] with any questions.

• Ask your employer or local business if they are willing to sponsor, see attached Sponsorship Letter for specific information.
• Many employers offer matching donations or turn volunteer hours into donations for your favorite non-profit. We have accounts set up with Benevity, Groundswell and others. 
  • Several of our board members utilize this and work for a similar companies as our other parents.
• Last is purchase a donation through our team store.

As a reminder if you are able to initiate a $500 or greater donation we will refund you your registration fee for each $500 increment (i.e. $1,000 donation covers 2 swimmers).
