Good evening swimmers, coaches and parents.

Thank you for another great swim season. I truly appreciated the effort y'all put in getting your kids to practice, volunteering and coaching. Even though the team lost 3 of the 4 dual meets, this was a very successful season as the swimmers did a great job improving their times from the beginning of the year to the end. I hope that you parents noticed it as well. 

We will be looking at making some changes next year around volunteering points, responsibilities and fines along with donations as these seemed to have been our two biggest pain points this year. If you have any constructive suggestions or feedback I would be happy to hear them, feel free to shoot me an email at [email protected]. Additionally, please be on the lookout for emails around the changes earlier in the year 2026. 

One last request, please consider checking your employer's benefits information to see if they partner with Benevity (https://causes.benevity.org/) as many companies will do either a financial donation for your volunteer time or $1:$1 matching up to a certain amount. If your company does partner with benevity your volunteer time can be sent to the team as donation funds, just search for Grand Lakes Swim Team.
