Good Evening Gator Parents,

Thank you for all of your participation so far this swim season. I have another request from you and this is one related to the sustainability of our swim team program. Since 2020 we have had some very lean sponsorship years which caused us to raise our registration fees last year. As you know we are a non-profit program with the only paid employees being the coaches, who in my opinion deserve every dollar they make by standing out on the hot pool deck 5 hours a day all week coaching our swimmers. In full transparency our other major expenses are insurance and lifeguard fees for the swim meets along with any swim meet related expenses like toner and supplies.

In an effort to avoid raising registration expenses again next year we are asking for your help in soliciting businesses in our community for donations. Please see the attached information that you can forward the businesses if they are interested.

Additionally, another easy way that our board found this year is if your employer partners with a non-profit portal called Benevity Causes your employer could make a donation for every hour you volunteer! Best part is because you are already required to volunteer for the swim meets as a parent all you have to do is go into the portal through your employer and register your hours. See below for the steps if your employer partners with this great company:
