Good evening parents,

Thank you to all who came out Wednesday night for the parent meeting. Here are some notes from the meeting along with the slide deck that Vicky went through. Please read the email and review the attached PowerPoint.

• We will be looking for new board members for next year (2026). If you are interested please see a current board member and let us know how you would like to help.
  • This will be Vicky's last year as the Volunteer Coordinator and we are looking for 1 or 2 people to replace her next year. Please reach out to Vicky and let her know that for your points this year you would like to shadow and help her this year.

• Our swim meets cannot run without volunteers so please show up for your shifts
  • This was the biggest complaint from our responsible volunteers last year.
  • We will be enforcing fines this year - see Vicky's slide show.
• We need starters, judges and console operators. If you have any interest please reach out to Vicky as they do require special training and the positions have been locked.
• As a reminder if you have an issue with timing or a DQ do NOT approach the judges. Please look for Pete Konyndyk or another board member and we will help you find Pete.
• We need sponsors - if you work or frequent a business please ask them to sponsor the Grand Lakes Swim Team and if you need info reach out to Amy Haskell.
